-->Poor Planning Just Makes Life Harder
I was speaking in a small town recently, sitting in a hotel room and picked up their local paper. Not much news in the 8 page paper, but there was an interesting “Police Report Section”. It told of crimes over the past two weeks. What caught my eye was this, “(1). Piggly Wiggly reports 2 steaks stolen at 11:28 a.m. (2). George Lanny reports gas stolen from tractor @ 11:41 a.m. (3) Piggly Wiggly reports 10 pound bag of charcoal stolen @ 11:58 a.m. (4) Buster Womack reports hornet nest upset @ 12:20 p.m. (5) Piggly Wiggly reports 6 pack of beer & large bottle of A1 Sauce stolen @ 12:35 p.m.) By now I was crying with laughter. Can you imagine 2 guys in a truck that keep going back to the Piggly Wiggly to steal each item individually for their grill out? You know, “I thought you got the coals Bubba?” Now I’m not endorsing stealing, I hope the steaks charred for doing it, but do you see how much time and energy is wasted when we fail to plan? You get the point, I’m going out to fire up the grill.
