“Public Enemies”

Public Enemies is the movie coming July 1 about John Dillinger (played by Johnny Depp). In the end he gets shot by Melvin Purvis ( can’t put a gun in the hands of a Purvis, he’ll kill gansta’s with it). Jesus had his share of public enemies didn’t He? For some of you, that slows you down and prevents you from going all out. It shouldn’t, it may just mean that you’re doing something right, so follow Christ anyway and He will settle all scores for you. I know that’s true!

Public Enemies.. ahhh what a wonderful thing to have. For years I taught adult Sunday School and EVERY week I came under attack by “Public” Enemy Number One… Satan. After years of struggling with him I stopped teaching (I don’t and never will consider myself a teacher. However.. I am an Instigator.) Yet after a lot of searching the Bible and myself, I realized the reason Satan attacked me so much and with so much consistantsy was out of fear. Fear that God would and DID use ME to make a difference in people’s spiritual lives which also made a difference in their everyday lives.

Today I am “Instigating” again and I’m so grateful God is using me again. Now… I look forward to Statan’s attacks because I now use the words of Jesus and the Bible to tick Satan off and send him on his way. He doesn’t stay gone very long. Usually about a few minuets. :) Then we do battle again.

The God we serve, worship, and honor is a loving and careing God.

    Thanks
