My wife’s family gathered on the coast this week. It was good to see them. The nieces (6) and one nephew are growing fast. Since Reese, the nephew who’s 6 yrs old was out numbered by all those girls, Uncle Bill and he went fishing off a dock with some stinky shrimp. He’s a cool kid. Debbie’s spending a few more days with them, I was only able to be there about a day and a half. Since there was a golf course across the street, Debbie and I got up early one morning for a quick 9 hole game. With every good shot, I’d had to shout, “I love this game”. With every bad shot, I’d yell, “I hate this game”. She recommended some sermons from Pastor Bill Purvis called, “The Emotion Driven Life” for that behavior. That was her golf tip. When I finished with a perfect drive and putt, I told her I’ll just get his sermon called, “Why winners win”, to which she replied, “Does he have one on how to get your golf balls over the water and out of the sand?” Now you know why she’s staying down there a few more days, she couldn’t catch up with my golf cart. Now who’s got the last word!.
